PADI Search and Recovery

The next time someone loses something underwater, you could be the guy who finds it. With the PADI Search and Recovery course, you'll learn how to systematically and safely search for lost items and bring them to the surface in a controlled manner, using a lifting bag, for example.

The course is both practical and addictive: it develops planning, teamwork, and underwater skills in a way that is useful for almost all diving.

What will you learn?

In this course you will learn:

• to look for objects underwater with effective search patterns
• use a lift bag and understand the basic principles of lifting
• plan a search operation : information collection, roles, security and implementation
• to do the job calmly and in a controlled manner; even when visibility or conditions are not perfect

PADI eLearning + in the water with an instructor

With PADI eLearning, you can learn theory flexibly at your own pace. In the water, we will train concretely: four dives During this time you will search for targets of different sizes using several search patterns, practice using a lifting bag and on the last dive you will plan and implement mock search operation -exercise – that is, the right search from start to finish.
