PADI Night Diver
Dark/night diving is both mysterious and addictive: a familiar destination is completely transformed when the animals of the day retreat and the nocturnal life awakens; the diving light draws its own world around you. With the Night Diver course you will learn to make dark diving a relaxed, clear and (suitably exciting), safe experience.
What will you learn?
During the course you will practice:
- navigation in the dark and outlining the route in the spotlight
- landings and takeoffs in the dark (as well as rhythm and safety routines)
- using a diving light for communication and working with a couple
- you experience floating in the dark (or only by moonlight on a clear night)
PADI eLearning + in the water with an instructor
- PADI eLearning: 2–4 hours
- Total duration for dives over 2 separate days (3 open water dives): In the water, we practice, among other things, entering/exiting the water in the dark, pair contact, and how to avoid disorientation in the dark so that everything remains calm and controlled.
Autumn Night Diver groups & Diver's Night culmination
We usually do this during the fall. a couple of Night Diver groups , and we are culminating the last course dives to the international Diver's Night , which will be held annually on the first Saturday of November . We celebrate Diver's Night together in the spirit of diving: in addition to other Nosteen Night Diver groups and staff, there are often also divers who are already dedicated to dark diving - and after the dive we usually enjoy the darkness too sausage roasting and snacks in terms of.
