PADI Underwater Navigator
Be the diver others want to follow – because you know where you are and where you’re going. The PADI Underwater Navigator course will hone your observation skills and teach you how to use your compass more accurately underwater. If you like challenges with big rewards, this course is super fun, practical, and definitely for you.
Why is it worth learning navigation properly?
It's surprisingly easy to get lost underwater if you don't have a compass or natural cues. When you learn to navigate, you'll be able to:
- return directly to the boat or shore , without surfacing in between
- avoid long, unnecessary and exhausting swimming trips
- operate more confidently in low visibility and in new locations
- improves the rhythm, safety and feel of diving
- reduces confusion and anxiety caused by not knowing your location
