Timing

Excellent buoyancy control is the skill that sets confident divers apart: movement is light, air consumption is reduced, and ascents, descents, and floating in place feel almost “thoughtful.” At the same time, you are able to observe underwater life without disturbing the environment. The PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy course develops your basic skills and takes them to the next level.

What will you learn?

The course focuses on practical work and honing skills:

  • right weighting : how much weight you need – not too much, not too little
  • trim and body position: where to place the weights and how to achieve a streamlined, relaxed position
  • neutral lift : hovering in place, controlled small changes in altitude and steady progress
  • more efficient use of air and more peaceful working underwater
  • better control = easier to approach animals and dive without leaving traces

PADI eLearning + open water training

Theory can be mastered flexibly at your own pace with PADI eLearning. In the water (2 open water dives), skills are honed with practical exercises: we perform weight checks, adjust trim weights, and practice neutral buoyancy control during two dives.

Standard

  • PADI (Junior) Open Water Diver or higher (or equivalent)
  • at least 10 years

Who is it suitable for?

  • You want to dive easier and more relaxed; and often you can also achieve longer dives with less air consumption
  • You want controlled ascents/descends and the certainty that you won't get stuck in the middle of nowhere.
  • You want a strong foundation for basic skills
  • You like to develop your technique and notice a tangible difference during your first workouts
  • Based on PADI standards, we can scale them according to the group's skill level and develop skills individually for each diver so that everyone gets the most out of the course.
