PADI Deep Diver
The PADI Deep Diver course teaches you how to plan deep dives smartly and safely. You practice gas management, learn to recognize and manage gas narcosis, and hone your teamwork skills, safety awareness, and buoyancy control in the depths.
When you dive beyond 18 meters, the rules of the game become clearer – and this course builds your skills and confidence accordingly.
Target depth: maximum 40 m (taking into account the circumstances and the trainer's assessment).
PADI eLearning
PADI eLearning makes theory flexible: you can study when it suits you, at your own pace (even offline). In the water, the focus is on what matters most: practical skills and safety.

In the water with an instructor
The course includes four open water dives With a PADI instructor. We practice descents, buoyancy control and safety stops, and do practical exercises that will help you see how depth affects colors, physical phenomena and your own thinking.
- Total time: typically 2–3 days
- Note: dives are done over a minimum of two days
In Finland: drysuit and requirement level
When diving deeper in Finland, the conditions emphasize the importance of equipment and skills. Our Deep Diver course requires the use of a drysuit and excellent drysuit control.
When we map your experience before the course, we may agree together an extra pool workout before open water (for a small additional fee) . The aim is to ensure that your buoyancy control skills are at the level required by the course, so that in open water you can focus on deep diving yourself safely and with relaxed confidence.
Who is it suitable for?

- Dives (or you are going to dive) Deeper in Finland and you want to build your skills in the right conditions. Please note that in the most demanding conditions the maximum depth is usually limited substantially depending on the conditions to keep training safe and comfortable.
